Amid the celebration for the men’s hockey gold medal win by Team USA last weekend, current FBI Director and Wannabe Frat Boy Kash Patel was chugging a beer and screaming as if he just scored a hat trick.
While the players enjoyed their considerable accomplishment, Patel shepherded a call from Donald Trump. The U.S. president proceeded to do the thing you would expect from any normal person: he congratulated the team. Then he did what you’d expect from Donald Trump: he made fun of the women’s team.
“I better [invite] the women,” Trump told the men’s team as they marinated in alcohol, sweat, and Patel’s tears. “Or they’ll impeach me.” The tone of that sentence was one of “I guess I have to acknowledge the female athletes.”
Most members of the men’s team, still wearing the jersey of USA, laughed at Trump’s disparaging remark. Because you know, to do otherwise would have taken backbone. Patel, basically getting his “golden shower” from the men’s team, laughed and hung on every word from trump, his favorite man-crush.
The spectacle of the men’s team mocking the women’s team has split this country (AGAIN). In a time where no event can exist without it being politicized, the USA hockey teams are now serving as placeholders in a Battle of the Sexes, 2026 style.
You’d think Trump would be happy about women competitors. The GOP Mafia Boss is 0-1 against male presidential opponents, but 2-0 against women. He has daughters. Heck, he even has a daughter he said he would like to date.
Trump has several wives, one current, and multiple exes. dead and alive. He also presumedly had a mother and a grandmother. But, that fact doesn’t seem to make the man who occupies the White House respectful. Should we be surprised? This is the man who calls female reporters he doesn’t like, “Piggy.” This from a man who tips the scales at nearly 300 pounds. Maybe he’s angry at women because he can’t find his own penis.
But of course, this is Donald Trump. Vision and depth is not his strong suit. This is the guy who suggested we pump bleach into our bodies to kill Covid.
It’s expected that Trump will be shitty to women. He has the emotional maturity of a 12-year old. He’s fueled by money, sex, and tacky interior design. I’d call him a man-child, but I don’t think “man” is at all what he really is. He’s just a toddler. Everyone knows this, even the sycophants who follow him.
But the “men” on Team USA should know better. You’d think so. One of them should have stood up for the women and pushed back at Trump during the celebration. What the Trump Cult is calling “just locker room talk.”
But, sadly the NHL players, all of them, were incapable of showing character. Instead, it was more of the macho “bro mentality” of way-too-many athletes and fans.
Why do so many male athletes and sports fans have to shit on women’s sports in order to make themselves feel better? These aren’t men. These are faux males. Fake tough guys. Childish boys.
Maybe Jack Hughes was missing a tooth not because he got it socked out of his mouth, but because he’s finally losing his baby teeth. It’s time now, “boys” to put the teeth under your pillow, take your quarter from the tooth fairy, and grow up.
Someone representing the men’s team should call a press conference and explain themselves and apologize. That’s what a real man does. It’s called ACCOUTABILITY. If they need a role model, don’t look to the Oval Office. There are many of us real men out here.
