Mike Bossy is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played his entire 10-year career with the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is considered one of the greatest goal-scorers in NHL history and is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. Bossy won several awards and honors during his career, including the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s Rookie of the Year and the Lady Byng Trophy for sportsmanship. He led the Islanders to four Stanley Cup championships and still holds several records, including the most consecutive 50-goal seasons (9).
